The goal of the Remixing Local TV News project is to reinvigorate the industry, and tell news stories in a way that attracts younger audiences while keeping older audiences engaged. We take some of the best stories from around the country and “remix” them—re-producing those stories using experimental techniques. We then test both versions of the stories — traditional vs. experimental — in their respective markets and see if we can discover new ways for telling stories.
